DotEcon provides evaluation of UK CfD award proposals to green energy generator

DotEcon was commissioned by a consortium of green energy generators to evaluate the latest UK proposals for an award process to allocate ‘Contracts for Differences’ (CfDs) or contracts guaranteeing fixed revenues for renewable energy, as set out by the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC).

DotEcon’s report, which identified a number of areas for improvement of proposals and provided specific recommendations better to meet DECC’s objectives of the scheme, was submitted to DECC by the green energy generator consortium as part of the consultation process, which closes on 20 September.
