The Irish Commission for Aviation Regulation has published a report by DotEcon on the impact of financial restructuring on the regulation of airport charges. The release of the report accompanied the launch of a consultation process for new determination of airport charges at Dublin airport, as required by the Irish State Airports Act 2004. This Act also set out a process of restructuring of the former Aer Rianta, paving the way for splitting the operation of Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports across three independent entities. The report can be downloaded here.
