Competition Commission publishes findings on classified directories

On 21 December 2006, the Competition Commission (CC) published its final findings and remedies following its market inquiry into classified directory advertising services and the operations of the main players in the market (which include Yell Ltd, Thomson Directories Ltd. and BT).

DotEcon supported Thomson Directories Ltd. in preparing its various submissions to the CC including in relation to its profitability and pricing behaviour over the period being investigated, the nature of competitive contraints within the market and the impact of proposed remedies on its operations.
