The Irish telecommunications regulator (ComReg) has launched its consultation for the award of new National Block Licences in the 26 GHz band, with current licences due to expire in 2018. The consultation documents set out ComReg’s proposals for the award, including considerations on the award format, the approach to setting fees, and suitable licence conditions. The consultation documents can be found on the ComReg website, and interested parties may submit views and comments on the proposals to ComReg until 5pm on 23 November 2017.
DotEcon is advising ComReg on the design and implementation of the award.
