The Danish National IT and Telecoms Agency has published a report evaluating the process that led to the succesful award of a 3G licence to Sonofon in December 2005. The award process was designed and managed by a consortium comprising DotEcon and Analysis. The report explains why and how key decisions regarding the auction design and rules were taken, and concludes that the implementation of the chosen design led to an outcome that met the Government’s objectives for the process.
