DotEcon Associate Arisa Siong discussed competition and regulation in a converged broadband world at the ITU Regional Economic and Financial Forum of Telecommunications/ICT for Asia and Pacific hosted by the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission. Arisa’s presentation covered how regulation should adapt to a converged broadband world where market boundaries are increasingly blurred, and how co-ordination between National Regulatory Authorities and National Competition Authorities might need to become more prevalent.
