DotEcon presents at ITU forum in Kuala Lumpur

DotEcon Associate Arisa Siong discussed competition and regulation in a converged broadband world at the ITU Regional Economic and Financial Forum of Telecommunications/ICT for Asia and Pacific hosted by the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission.  Arisa’s presentation covered how regulation should adapt to a converged broadband world where market boundaries are increasingly blurred, and how co-ordination between National Regulatory Authorities and National Competition Authorities might need to become more prevalent.  The presentation slides can be downloaded from the event website and are also available here.
The presentation was based on the findings of a DotEcon study for the ITU on competition and regulation in a converged broadband world.
