Gabriela Galvano joins DotEcon as an Associate after eight years at ANACOM, the Portuguese Communications Regulator, where she was responsible for the implementation of two spectrum auctions in Portugal before becoming a member of the BEREC 2015 Chair team. Gabriela has more than 15 years experience in the telecommunications sector, having worked as a Research Engineer at the Portuguese Institute of Telecommunications and for Siemens in Argentina, Germany and Portugal. During her time at ANACOM, Gabriela has been part of several European study groups covering topics such as flexible spectrum usage and spectrum sharing and an agenda item coordinator at the World Radio Conference 2012. Gabriela holds and MBA from IE Business School and a degree in Electrical Engineering (both with honours).
