DotEcon has been appointed to assist OFCOM, the Swiss telecoms regulator and spectrum manager with the design and implementation of an auction to award radio spectrum in the 800MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz, 2.1GHz and 2.6GHz bands. The auction is currently scheduled to take place in Q1 2011 and the frequencies will become available to use between 2014 and 2017.
