The Danish Telecoms Authority held a stakeholder event on 5 December to present the main features proposed for the 800MHz spectrum award, published for consultation on the 16th of November. DotEcon presented the proposed auction format and rules for the award, which follow a Combinatorial Clock Auction format with a provision for a flexible allocation of a regional coverage obligation. This provision allows the auction to determine whether the coverage oblgation will be assigned to a single operator or shared between two or three operators.
