National IT and Telecom Agency of Denmark publishes Information Memorandum for 2.5GHz and 2010MHz auction

The National IT and Telecom Agency of Denmark has published the Information Memorandum (IM) for the award of spectrum in the 2.5GHz (2.6GHz) and 2010-2025MHz bands. Applications to participate in the auction should be submitted by 24 February 2010, and the auction is provisionally scheduled to begin on 7 April 2010. This IM is very similar to the draft IM, which was published for public consultation in July 2009. Prospective bidders are advised to read the official IM, which is in Danish, carefully and to monitor the Agency’s website for updates to the timetable. An unofficial English translation is also available to assist bidders. Both can be downloaded from the Agency’s website.

DotEcon and Analysys Mason have been advising the Agency on this spectrum award process. The frequencies will be sold using a combinatorial clock auction (CCA) designed by our spectrum auction experts. Bids will be submitted using DotEcon’s WebBidder auction software.
