DotEcon, Analysys and Mason Communications have completed their assessment of allocation and assignment options for four spectrum bands. The bands are:
- 410-415/420-425MHz;
- 872-876/917-21MHz;
- 2010-2025MHz; and
- 2290-2302MHz.
Our study assessed the potential uses of the spectrum, the relative value of these uses, and the likely level and nature of demand. In light of this market assessment and Ofcom’s policy guidelines, we developed recommendations for packaging of spectrum usage rights and suitable assignment mechanisms, including auctions where appropriate.
