Austrian telecoms regulator RTR GmbH has today launched a consultation on the product and auction design options for the planned award of the second tranch of digital dividend spectrum (700 MHz), SDL frequencis in the 1500 Mhz band and the FDD spectrum in the 2100 MHz band, where existing licences will expire at the end of 2020. The consultation also looks at various options for the improving mobile service coverage.
