Rules and timeline for Dutch multiband auction published

On 6 January, the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation published the rules and a timeline for the upcoming multi-band auction in the Netherlands.
On offer will be licences for spectrum in a number of bands (including 800MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz, 1900MHz, 2100MHz and 2600MHz), and the auction will follow a Combinatorial Clock Auction (CCA) format, scheduled to begin in October 2012. Interested parties are invited to submit applications to participate from 16 April.

DotEcon is advising Agentschap Telecom, the regulator overseeing the award process, on the design and implementation of the auction (see here for details).
