Sonofon has been awarded a licence for the provision of 3rd generation mobile services in Denmark which became available following TeliaSonera’s take-over of Orange in Denmark. DotEcon, together with Analysis, advised the Danish Government on the auction process which was aimed at ensuring that there would be effective and sustainable competition and that innovation and development of new services would be stimulated. Sonofon secured the licence with a bid over DKr 533 million.
