The National IT and Telecom Agency (NITA) has today announced the winners, the amount of spectrum won and the resulting licence prices, which are as follows:
- Hi3G has won 2x10MHz of paired spectrum and 25MHz of unpaired spectrum. The total licence price is DKK 7.091.000.
- TDC has won 2x20MHz of paired spectrum. The total licence price is DKK 333.333.000.
- Telia has won 2x20MHz of paired spectrum and 10MHz of unpaired spectrum. The total licence price is DKK 336.331.000.
- Telenor has won 2x20MHz of paired spectrum and 10MHz of unpaired spectrum. The total licence price is DKK 333.333.000.
A further lot of unpaired spectrum (2010-2025MHz) was also offered in the auction but remains unsold.
The prices correspond to approx, €0.20 per MHz per population for the licences including 2x20MHz, which is above the prices paid for similar FDD frequencies in Sweden in 2008.
